U.L. Central Station Monitoring
24 hours a day - 7 days a week

How does it work?

Step 1:       As soon as your alarm is tripped, a signal is sent immediately to our Central Station.

Step 2:       A Central Station Operator calls the premises to verify the alarm signal.

Step 3:       If nobody answers, or, does not know the correct password to cancel the alarm, a 2nd verification phone call is made per F.S. 489.529.

S
tep 4:       If nobody answers, or, does not know the correct password to cancel the alarm, the proper authorities are dispatched (Police, Fire, or Medical).

Step 5:       Central Station Operators will then contact the people on your emergency contact “callout list” in the exact order you have specified to notify them that an alarm has happened and the authorities have already been dispatched to the premises.

Why does it work?

The management team knows that the key to excellence in customer service lies in the strong selection, training and supervision of the people who deliver our services.  The initial training program combines materials that were developed from the Security Industry Association and commercial programs on telephone courtesy.  Continuing education is provided in the form of procedural reviews and monthly topics of focus.

Employee performance is measured by the standard of how consistently and accurately published procedures are followed.  Our central station is constantly developing new ideas to improve services to you.

Our Central Station is U.L. listed for burglary and fire system monitoring.  It is fully automated using redundant computer hardware and software.

All alarm traffic and dispatcher responses are stored on multiple permanent optical media, on and off premises, assuring fast reliable access to alarm history information.  The Cisco AVVID voice over IP telephone system handles automatic call distribution to dispatch stations and records the details of every inbound and outbound call on computer disk.  Complete statistics on response times are reviewed by the management team daily to assure quality service.  All telephone conversations are digitally recorded on a Wygant voice recording system.  Fiber optic telephone service enters the building from two separate directions.  If a cable is damaged or cut, service will continue without interruption using the other path.  The building is also protected by a bonded Faraday cage lightning protection system. Equipment is powered by an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system with banks of back up batteries as well as a self-starting, engine driven generator that can power the entire Central Station indefinitely.
