Keypad Programming
How to add, change, or delete a Master or User codes:

Things to watch out for:
- Are you taking too long between keystrokes? Each of these sequences must be executed with no pauses between keystrokes.
- Do you have the right Authority? Only a Master Code can be used to assign, change, or delete user codes.
- All codes must be 4-digits.
- The keypad gives no confirmation of prompts until all keystrokes are completed.
- Vista 10P has 13 available user positions (03-14) besides the Master Code.
- Vista 20P has 45 additional user positions (03-46) besides the Master Code.
- Lynx (wireless) has 4 additional user positions (03-06) besides the Master Code.

Changing an Existing Master Code
- At the keypad, enter Master Code + 8 + 02 + New Master Code + New Master Code.
- You will get a single beep to verify the entry was accepted.
(This will change the Master Code. The new code is keyed twice for verification.)
For example, if the Master Code is 1234 and you want to change it to 5678,
key the following: 1234 8 02 5678 5678

Programming a Secondary User Code
- Note: The user position will be a 2-digit entry of 03, 04, 05, etc…
- At the keypad, enter Master Code + 8 + (user position) + 4-digit User Code.
- You will get a singe beep to verify the entry was accepted.
For example, if the Master Code is 1234 and you want to add a code of 5678 for user #03,
key the following: 1234 8 03 5678

Deleting a Secondary User Code
- Note: The user position will be a 2-digit entry of 03, 04, 05, etc…
- At the keypad, enter Master Code + 8 + (user position) + # + 0.
- You will get a single beep to verify the entry was accepted.
For example, if the Master Code is 1234 and you want to delete user #03,
key the following: 1234 8 03 # 0
